Jersey Girl-- Born in Teaneck, raised in East Brunswick
Boston University Grad 2002
BA in Journalism and a true Blondie
Kristina started working in TV when she was 15-- various
internships b/c she was lucky enough to have parents involved in
the "biz" as they say. After college she reported at a tiny station in
Trenton, NJ- WZBN. After that, spent a year and a half at VH1
doing various production work and with a freelance production
company called "White Cherry". Then she went back to Boston for
a summer to help cover the Democratic National Convention and
the NFL Kick-Off Show in Foxboro MA..
Kristina started at the CW11(then WB) in Nov. 2004 working as
Lisa Mateo's Entertainment Production Assistant. When she moved
up to the chopper full-time Kristina took over as the Entertainment
Producer.. (hollah!!!) Now she lucky enough to be following in her
footsteps again filling in for Lisa in the chopper!! Kristina says "She
is like my Obi-Wan Kenobi!!"
Once again the Grand High Exulted Pupa's at WPIX have picked a
winner to seat left seat in AIR11! So far Kristina has disproved all
the Blondie myths.
Kristina made her first Studio appearance on 04-07 2008 and lived
to tell the tail.
